Opportunity Information The Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. Join a busy outpatient practice center providing comprehensive vision care services including: general and pediatric ophthalmology, optometry, surgical/medical retina, cornea, lasik, oculoplastics, uveitis and glaucoma. Position is a Full-Time 1.0 FTE, working 75% in Pleasanton, CA and 25% in Fremont, CA. Our Pleasanton location will be a brand new state-of-the-art care center with established PAMF patients in the surrounding Tri-Valley Area. Position is comprehensive with subspecialty training welcome. Ability for rapid practice building a patient panel through strong internal and external referral networks. Full-time is 35 patient contact hours per week, average up to 30 patients per day. Light call rotation on average 1:6 shared amongst colleagues. No inpatient call is required. Excellent clinical and administrative support with two technicians working with the Ophthalmologist per day.
