Job Title: Physician – Palliative Care Facility: Main Line HealthCare locations system-wide Employment Type: Full-Time Main Line Health is actively recruiting a Palliative Care Physician to join our growing, mission-driven Palliative Care Team serving patients across multiple Main Line Health campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in both community and academic settings while helping bridge the gap between acute and ambulatory palliative services. The selected physician will provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient consultative services, with a strong focus on building an innovative embedded ambulatory model in collaboration with key service lines. This role offers the chance to shape a system-wide expansion of palliative care while working closely with hospitalists, specialists, advanced practice providers, social workers, chaplains, hospice partners, and nursing teams. We are seeking a physician who is: Agile and adaptable, able to thrive in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Passionate about improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of palliative medicine. Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient palliative care consults across Main Line Health campuses. Support the development of an ambulatory palliative care program in an embedded model. Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, APPs, social workers, chaplains, and hospice teams to optimize patient care. Participate in teaching opportunities with residents and medical students. Advance system-wide quality and strategic initiatives, including reducing length of stay and readmissions, improving mortality, and supporting transitions to hospice when appropriate. Contribute to program development, interdisciplinary education, and continuous quality improvement. Foster a culture of communication, compassion, and teamwork. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine. Eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license. DEA license required. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a matrixed, multi-campus environment. Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative approach.
