Medcor is seeking a Part-time Physician to provide hands-on Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine to employees at our onsite clinic in Dubuque, IA. The hours for this role are Tuesday’s 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This position has the flexibility to be a virtual/remote role as well.

• Direction of the medical practice of the PA/NP
• Consultation as needed with the clinic’s PA or NP
• Recognition of the PA/NP’s education needs and help in meeting those needs
• Provide occupational medicine services at a level of an outpatient clinic
• Medical surveillance
• Provide assessment and treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries
• Provide urgent care of non-work-related injuries and illnesses as best supports site activities
• Fit for duty evaluations
• Provide initial evaluation and stabilization of patients who present with illnesses or injuries that require a higher level of care or EMS transport
• Provide pre-placement evaluations
• DOT evaluations
• Successful use of MD Guidelines
