JOIN THE HOPEDALE MEDICAL COMPLEX TEAM! Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Physicians' Office Receptionist to join our outpatient clinic team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience through exceptional customer service, accurate scheduling, and efficient front office operations. This position supports our Medical Arts office and satellite clinics, including Atlanta, Delavan, Mackinaw, Manito, and Tremont, and may include occasional Saturday coverage. HMC OFFERS * Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance * Quality childcare conveniently located on campus * HMC Wellness Center membership * 401(k) plan with employer match   WHAT YOU'LL DO * Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service from check-in through check-out. * Answer incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments, route calls, and accurately document messages. * Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information. * Schedule appointments according to provider availability and office protocols. * Collect copayments and other payments at the time of service. * Prepare patient charts and ensure medical records, laboratory results, and diagnostic reports are available for providers. * Complete laboratory, imaging, and outpatient service requisitions. * Assist with appointment reminder calls and follow-up scheduling. * Review encounter forms for completeness and ensure appropriate diagnosis and procedure coding before submission. * Maintain physician schedules and communicate with consulting providers as needed. * Order and restock office supplies and assist with daily office opening and closing procedures. * Maintain accurate records and complete required daily reports. * Support office operations by assisting with exam room turnover, filing medical records, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. * Travel between Medical Arts and satellite clinic locations as needed.   QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused demeanor. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. * Ability and willingness to work at Medical Arts and all satellite clinic locations (Atlanta, Delavan, Mackinaw, Manito, and Tremont). * Previous medical office or healthcare reception experience preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding (ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT) preferred.
