Work Shift Wellstar Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Trauma Acute Care Surgeons to join our busy, collegial team trauma team at Kennestone. Level 1 trauma center located in Marietta, just Northwest of Atlanta. Busiest Emergency department in the state. GME surgery residency program and teaching opportunities. Approximately 15% penetrative trauma Seasoned trauma program with large group comprised of 10 physicians, APPs, responsible for covering trauma, surgical critical care for trauma patients and acute care surgery. Flexible call schedule, in house trauma/EGS call requirement of 7 24-hour calls per month (or 14 12's). ICU week in rotation shared equally between partners. Responsibilities
The role involves joining a busy trauma team at a Level 1 trauma center, covering trauma, surgical critical care for trauma patients, and acute care surgery. Responsibilities include participating in flexible call schedules, including 7 in-house 24-hour trauma/EGS calls per month, and sharing ICU week rotations.
