Exploring Scholar is currently looking for an experienced Physics teacher to join our in person team. The team is based in and operates out of Toronto. Teachers at Exploring Scholar inspire students through in person lessons and professional lesson plans. Ideal candidates currently have a full-time physics or teaching job, or they are in teacher’s college or an education related field. Because this is an in person position, teachers must be able to reliably commute to our location
Exploring Scholar is a rapidly growing provider of innovative education services focusing on K-12 academic enrichment programs in a wide range of subjects (see below for the subjects we offer). We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment where teachers can design tailored materials for students. Our educators strive to encourage students to promote student interest in physics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holding a bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field is required; Holding a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Teaching experiences in high school physics in a North American curriculum.
• Ability to teach physics demonstrated during the selection process.
• Teachers must be proficient in online teaching tools.

• Deliver high-quality lessons to small classes or through private tutoring.
• Prepare lessons within guidelines.
• Mark homework and assessments.
• Help promote students’ interests in Physics.
• Teach a minimum of 4 hours per week.
