About the Position: Exploring Scholar is seeking an experienced Physics teacher to join our in person team. The team is based in and operates out of Toronto. Ideal candidates currently have a full-time physics or teaching job, or they are in teacher’s college or an education related field. Because this is an in person position, teachers must be able to reliably commute to our location

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holding a bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field is required; Holding a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Teaching experiences in high school physics in a North American curriculum.
• Ability to teach physics demonstrated during the selection process.
• Teachers must be proficient in online teaching tools.

• Deliver high-quality lessons to small classes or through private tutoring.
• Prepare lessons within guidelines.
• Mark homework and assessments.
• Help promote students’ interests in Physics.
• Teach a minimum of 4 hours per week.
