ABOUT US

/Ascent Health & Sport Therapy is a Calgary-based clinic rooted in excellence, innovation, and community. This fall, we’re expanding to a second location inside Currie Barracks’ FitHub YYC - a collaborative wellness and fitness hub designed to bring together movement, rehab, and performance under one roof.
Guided by the philosophy “Everyone is an Athlete,” we provide multidisciplinary care that empowers clients to move well, recover strong, and perform for life. Our integrated approach blends hands-on therapy, sport science technology, and progressive rehab systems to guide clients from injury through resilience and back to performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
  • Strong clinical reasoning and confident in active, functional rehab models
  • Bonus: experience working with athletes, sport teams, or active populations
  • Additional certifications (dry needling, manual therapy, pelvic health, etc.) are considered assets
  • Open to learning and comfortable with high-end rehab technologies
  • Passionate about movement, performance, and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’ve been busy recruiting /All-Stars to join the /A Team as we grow and level up in 2025- and we’re looking for a physiotherapist who’s excited to be part of something meaningful. At our new Currie Barracks location, you won’t just treat patients - you’ll help shape a clinic culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-informed practices
  • Design individualized rehab plans that integrate manual therapy, exercise prescription, and movement retraining
  • Incorporate wearable technology and data-driven tools to enhance assessment and track progress
  • Collaborate with chiropractors, massage therapists, and performance coaches to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care
  • Contribute to programming, including return-to-sport protocols and small group rehab classes
  • Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with provincial regulations and clinic policies
  • Engage in community outreach, content creation, or education events to represent the /Ascent brand and mission
  • Stay current with clinical research and rehab trends to bring innovative ideas into the practice
