Multidisciplinary clinic in Mississauga is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team and provide support to our Physiotherapist in delivering personalized patient care. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physiotherapist and be able to assist patients with their treatment plans and exercises. This role is essential in ensuring our patients meet their therapy goals in a timely and effective manner.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate should have an excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, friendly, punctual, hardworking and a team player.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with modalities (IFC, TENS, US, Laser)
• Experience with soft tissue therapy and exercise rehab is a strong asset
• Previous experience working in a physiotherapy clinic is preferred
• Professional and possess excellent customer service skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Assist licensed physiotherapist and work directly with patients, helping them with exercises and stretches. Execute hands-on treatment and mobility exercises as outlined in the patient’s care plan.
-Support licensed physiotherapist by preparing treatment areas and equipment, assisting with therapy sessions, and ensuring the patient’s safety and comfort throughout each session.
-Ensure all therapy equipment is sanitized, functioning properly and stored appropriately after use. Also assist with laundry and general clinic housekeeping
