JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role is crucial in providing excellent patient care and support within our facility, particularly in pediatrics.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role preferred, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable to effectively communicate with staff and patients.
  • Familiarity with patient care practices, especially in acute care or rehab environment, is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain patient and calm under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to administrative duties.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate patient schedules.
  • Experience working as a physiotherapist and/or assistant

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in scheduling and documentation.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, utilizing medical terminology as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations within the hospital setting.
  • Provide information about services offered, appointment availability, and other relevant details to patients and families.
  • Uphold a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Help the physiotherapist with treatment my implementing exercise programs, modalities, or what the treatment plan prescribes
  • track patient retention and drop and ensure 100% satisfaction with patient care
