OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with expertise in various physiotherapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology. This role involves working with patients across different settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of patients, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid license to practice in the province of Ontario.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
  • Experience in acute care settings, including hospital experience and outpatient clinic environments.
  • Familiarity with home & community care practices is preferred.
  • Ability to create effective care plans that address diverse patient needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physiotherapy treatments including trigger point therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, and pediatric care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
