This role will be perfect for clinicians interested in working with the Internal Medicine patient populations including: homeless and marginalized, frail elderly and mental health and addictions. The Primary Role of the Physical Therapist is in the assessment and management of physical impairments or disabilities with the aim of enhancing and restoring functional abilities and quality of life within the context of an interprofessional team. This role is specific to weekend shifts on the Internal Medicine, Geriatric and Stroke Unit.

The primary role of a physiotherapist is to assess, diagnose within scope, and analyze the impact of injury, disease, disorders, environment factors or lifestyle on movement and function.
