Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative individual for the position of a Physiotherapist to provide specialized assessment, treatment, and intervention for older adults with multiple complex health needs and provide resources for professionals and caregivers in Northern Ontario.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). However, candidates expected to obtain registration in the next few months and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Successful completion of the Geriatric Learning series or equivalent, Core Indigenous Cultural Competency Training Program, and the P.I.E.C.E.S. Training program are required. Preference will be given to candidates that are certified as an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer. We are looking for someone with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience working within Specialized Geriatric Services and completing assessment and treatment guided by the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment.
