Summary:

Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team in Mackay, Queensland. This role is essential for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing patient mobility and overall health, contributing to our commitment to excellence in medical care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and quality of life.
• Utilise a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in physiotherapy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current police clearance certificate.
• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an allied health role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Proficient in using physiotherapy equipment and technology.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
