The successful applicant will join a supportive, team-oriented department, which offers rotations across Fitzroy, Kew and Hawthorn campuses through Musculoskeletal, Neurosciences, Cardiorespiratory, Emergency, Mental Health and Rehabilitation areas. The position is responsible for providing high quality, overall objective physiotherapy management for the patients in the Units allocated and any other workload as directed. You will usually rotate every 4 months, and cross campus work is involved. Rostered weekend and public holiday is also a requirement. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join a cohesive and progressive integrated team, committed to excellence in clinical practice, research and professional development. Must have, or be currently eligible for, National Physiotherapist Registration. Classifications for this position will be VA3 – VA7 ($70,590.00 - $85,872.80 per annum). Duties include Provide appropriate clinical management for all patients in the units covered Represent patient/physiotherapy issues at relevant meetings, including team / family / multidisciplinary / departmental meetings Maintain effective communication with other team members with active contribution to multidisciplinary team meetings and comprehensive handovers Develop and promote new initiatives regarding service provision Your Contribution Experience in and knowledge of physiotherapy management in a health care setting Experience working in a team Good interpersonal communication skills Superior written and verbal communication skills.
