Description

Epworth HealthCare provides integrated clinical pathways across the full continuum of care which includes acute, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation and community-based rehabilitation services.
An exciting and challenging opportunity is available within our Community Integration Team (CIT). This role is a part time (30.4 hours), fixed term parental leave cover position until October 2026.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Grade 2 Physiotherapist with strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be involved in the optimisation of the physiotherapy service. Delivering positive clinical outcomes to the client, ensuring long-term health and wellbeing in a community based setting, consistent with Epworth HealthCare’s vision and values.
Provided with a laptop and phone, you will have the ability to work remotely, with flexible start and finish locations as well as from our office in Richmond. Our team are only required to attend on site once per week/fortnight.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Responsibilities
  • A full current driver’s licence
  • Relevant experience in a community rehabilitation setting (desirable)
  • Well-developed expertise in assessment, intervention and discharge planning
  • Knowledge of the private not-for-profit sector
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • A flexible mindset to meet the many clinical needs of clients
  • The natural ability to be proactive and responsive to changing client profiles and service demands
