Big Hearts Home Healthcare was founded to fill the need for compassionate and accessible home care services for every member of our community. Since then, we have been recognized by the Chamber of Commerce as Business of the Year 2022 and by Readers’ Digest as the Best In-Home Care Company (2019, 2020 & 2021). We have established relationships with professionals and specialists, including occupational therapists and hospitals discharge nurses, as well as organizations such as WorkSafe, Pacific Blue Cross, Canada Life and other insurance providers.
We service injured workers, accident victims, discharged patients and others. This position will be within the local area and applicants are encouraged to have a car to commute to client homes. Applicants are invited to apply, and interviews will be held at the end of this week.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Current registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• 1+ years experience preferred
• Clinical experience with post-concussion, neurological populations, mental health challenges an asset
• Must have an active driver’s license (Class 5) and own vehicle to drive
• Ability to do work in clinic and in the community (e.g., home visits, job site visits, community walks with a client)
• Previous experience with ICBC, LTD, and/or WorkSafe (e.g., OT Services, ECAT) referrals an asset
• 1 year experience in a Return to Work setting an asset.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills; strong interpersonal skills.

  All workers must wear a mask, gloves, and socially distance from clients when possible. We do not service care homes and only service individual clientele in their own homes.
