From rehabilitation to prevention, and even relaxation, our educated professionals are eager to help our patients. Here, we strive to provide a support team that perseveres with our patients from pre-injury to post-recovery. We aim to eliminate the inconvenience of clinic-hopping with our collaborative practice. Our variety of practitioners will build effective treatment plans with our patients to maximize the benefits of the recovery. The clinic is currently looking for an experienced Registered Physiotherapist to join our clinic.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to provide Clinical Pilates Service
· Registered member (in good standing) with the College of Physiotherapists of BC
· Must be comfortable working with ICBC patients
· Manual Therapy
· Exercise Prescription
· Knowledge in Pilates is an extra asset
· Good interpersonal skills and communication with a wide variety of patients
· Compassionate and sensitive to patients’ needs and concerns
· Korean Speaking is an asset but not mandatory

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with patient doctors for referrals, notes, and medical history
· Review and evaluate patient through tests, movements, and conversation
· Create and implement treatment care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
· Establish patient goals and benchmarks
· Discuss patient’s goalposts with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare team
· Schedule exercises and therapies for patients
· Observe and review patient progress
· Assist and demonstrate proper stretches, techniques, exercise moves, and equipment uses
· Educate patient family members, caretakers, or close friends on the patient’s treatment plan
· Recommend specialists to patients who need additional medical attention
· Document patient medical progress and treatment; record notes to update medical conditions
