OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team. We are specialised in endurance sports working with runners and triathletes of all distances and abilities in the heart of Cheltenham. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to prepare them for a return to sport. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to provide compassionate patient care. Experience in endurance sports is highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised by the relevant professional body.
  • Previous experience working in a running or triathlon environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate within the healthcare setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing compassionate care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations.

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with medical terminology standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Proactively attract returning and new client business to the clinic site.
