QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Licensed Physiotherapist in Ontario (required)
• Massage Therapy certification or significant experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of neurological conditions (e.g., brain injury, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders)
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
• Palliative care experience is an asset

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physiotherapist who preferably is also trained in Massage Therapy to work with our 33-year-old daughter. She is currently receiving home palliative care but is showing encouraging signs of neurological and physical improvement.
This role is ideal for a therapist with neurological rehabilitation experience who is committed to helping clients reach their best potential in a supportive, family-centred environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide physiotherapy treatments focused on mobility, strength, and flexibility
• Deliver massage therapy to aid relaxation, comfort, and muscle health
• Support neurology-related rehabilitation and motor function improvement
• Encourage and motivate her to engage in therapy sessions consistently
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with both patient and family
