OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and rehabilitation, with expertise in various physiotherapy techniques. This role involves working with patients across different settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. The Physiotherapist will develop individualized care plans, provide treatment, and assist in discharge planning to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience in hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care preferred.
  • Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy related to human movement and rehabilitation.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for effective documentation and patient management.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physiotherapy needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored care plans based on individual patient evaluations.
  • Provide treatment for a variety of conditions, including acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics.
  • Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy and manual therapy to enhance patient recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and home care strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge in all aspects of care.
