THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team at Port Macquarie Private Hospital. This role will see you support our outpatient clinic, hydrotherapy pool and running our Day Programs. You will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing therapy whilst developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team. This opportunity will see you working alongside a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for our patients. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will be part of a team providing quality patient care delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We seek highly motivated individuals passionate about customer focused care and who thrive working within a Multidisciplinary Team. You will have well developed clinical and communication skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum one (1) year of physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
