About the Role: Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Services (RACS) is a vibrant and diverse Division within CHS providing multidisciplinary rehab, aged and community-based care across a range of settings. Physiotherapists based at the University of Canberra Hospital (UCH), participate in rotations between the Inpatient Physiotherapy service (including acute geriatrics at The Canberra Hospital and UCH Inpatient Rehabilitation wards), Brindabella Day and Ambulatory Rehabilitation Services (BDARS) and Transitional Therapy and Care Program (TTCP). To succeed in the role, you will provide appropriate skilled clinical assessment and intervention across a range of clinical areas, liaise with carers and other service providers as required; exercise independent judgement on routine matters and perform novel, complex, or critical tasks under professional supervision, decreasing as expertise increases. This position will also require you to work flexibly across services/ locations and may be required to participate in a weekend roster.
