We are currently seeking Registered Physiotherapists to be part of our growing Allied Health team for full and part time roles. Job Description This is a unique opportunity to be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team from across the health sector that will deliver the next generation of integrated care in Mississauga, providing holistic proactive, seamless care and support to patients, families and caregivers. In this role you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and delivering treatment plans focused on achieving the goals of care including mobility and function, symptom management, and delivering education. Work under the supervision of the Program Director Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans based on the patient’s unique needs and goals of care Participate in clinical huddles and case conferences with team members such as physicians, nurses, social workers, speech therapists and occupational therapists Conduct physiotherapy assessment, consultation and planned interventions for patients Engage in skilled, compassionate communication with patients, families, and caregivers regarding mobility, and function Educate and mentors patients, family and caregivers on strategies to maintain safe mobility and function in the home setting Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards Qualifications Master’s degree in Physiotherapy Registered in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario 3-5 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist preferred Valid Ontario driver's license and a reliable vehicle Ability to work autonomously and as part of an integrated health care team, with an emphasis on collaborative care planning Proficiency in conducting assessments, interpreting findings, and formulating evidence-based treatment plans Familiarity with assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications #palpeel_2 Additional Information Spectrum Health Care is thrilled to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
