Your role at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Grade 1 or Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our team in a fixed‑term parental leave position until July 2027, this is a part-time opportunity working 22.8 hours per week. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative multi‑disciplinary team, delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based physiotherapy services across a diverse client caseload. Experience in Lymphoedema or Pelvic Health is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage given the specialised nature of our service needs. The Position Provide high quality evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable. Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required. Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation. Attend staff meetings and present at professional development sessions as required. Accepts responsibility for maintaining and strengthening own professional knowledge and expertise. Maintenance of own continuing professional development portfolio as required Promote a positive safety culture within their areas by demonstrating a positive commitment to OHS. You will hold a registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist and will have a demonstrate senior clinical experience and leadership in clinical practice as a physiotherapist within a healthcare and disability service setting. To succeed in this multi-disciplinary team, you will have recent experience in Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments.
