JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in acute care settings and pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and improve overall physical function.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure or certification to practice as a Physiotherapist.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
  • Experience working in an athletic or recreational training environment an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and patient care activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes.
  • Experience with pregnancy and women’s health an asset
  • Background in strength training, personal training or athletics preferred

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
