Getting older can mean giving up a lot – your home, your routine, your sense of independence. We don’t think it should.

At Suncare, we help people keep living the life they love, with in-home and community care that feels personal, local, and full of heart. With more than 800 team members and 200 volunteers, we’re the familiar face that shows up when life gets tough and we look after our team the same way.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Clear career pathways and training to help you grow
  • Full induction and buddy shifts
  • Branded workwear
  • Not-for-profit salary packaging ($15,900 per annum)
  • Leave loading to make your time off even better
  • Monthly clinical development sessions and CPD
  • Flexible and hybrid working options
  • Fitness Passport for gyms and wellness facilities
  • Employee Assistance Program for confidential support
  • QLeave portable long service leave
  • Referral rewards – because good people know good people

What you will be doing

Help people keep living the life they love, right at home. You’ll provide hands-on physiotherapy that makes a real difference, from tailored exercise programs to hydrotherapy and mobility support. Your focus will be practical, evidence-based care that helps people reach their goals.

Your day might include:

  • Assessing and planning therapy that improves strength, balance, and independence
  • Connecting people to group programs and health initiatives
  • Supporting multidisciplinary team members with your expertise
  • Contributing to quality improvement and shaping better ways to deliver care

This role is based in Hervey Bay and can be full-time or part-time (Monday to Friday). We’re flexible with hours, so tell us what works best for you in your cover letter.

This is a chance to make a real impact in your local community.

You will Thrive in this role if you

  • Have experience supporting older people with physiotherapy care
  • Are confident on the road, with a current driver’s licence and a car ready for work
  • Communicate with warmth and clarity, building trust with ease
  • Are tech-savvy and detail-oriented, keeping notes and plans up to date
  • Stay committed to learning – from First Aid refreshers to professional networks
  • Know how to motivate others and support people with complex needs
