DESCRIPTION:

Pan Am Rehabilitation Services is a private physiotherapy clinic located within the Pan Am Clinic. We are currently seeking a part-time Physiotherapy Aide to work weekday evenings. The Physiotherapy Aide will assist with patient treatments under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience working as a Physiotherapy Aide in a physiotherapy clinic is preferred
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals, clinical staff, and the public

• Assist physiotherapists with the preparation, application, and removal of hot and cold packs, as well as the removal of electrical modalities
• Prepare clients for their physiotherapy appointments by welcoming them and escorting them to their designated treatment spaces
• Ensure the physiotherapy clinic and equipment are consistently clean
• Maintain clinic tidiness and appearance
• Fabricate soft orthotics and fit custom orthotics in footwear
• Perform laundry duties
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
