Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physiotherapists in delivering patient-centered care by preparing treatment areas and equipment.
• Support patients through exercises, stretches, and mobility activities as directed by the physiotherapist.
• Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and report observations to the supervising physiotherapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of therapy equipment and treatment spaces.
• Educate patients on post-treatment exercises and home care routines to promote ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient schedules and optimize care delivery.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in patient care within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols diligently.
