SKILLS

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and patient care.
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred, particularly within acute care environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion while providing patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when documenting patient progress and maintaining treatment areas.

  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising physiotherapist.
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-care techniques to enhance recovery.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
