Duties

• Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments, treatments, and therapy sessions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patient care
• Support patients during exercises, mobility activities, and therapeutic interventions under supervision
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physiotherapy team promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Ensure cleanliness and proper sterilization of therapy equipment and treatment spaces
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans and facilitate smooth operations

Skills

• Prior hospital experience or exposure to acute care environments is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a compassionate approach
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards
• Adaptability to work in fast-paced settings with diverse patient needs
