Summary:
We are looking for a Physiotherapy Support Worker (Physiotherapy Assistant, Athletic Therapist, Kinesiologist, or equivalent) to facilitate community, in-clinic, and pool visits with our incredible clients in the Comox Valley and Campbell River.
Duties:
- Implement treatment plans as directed by a registered physiotherapist
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Monitor and report patient progress
- Provide support to patients during therapy sessions in a variety of different settings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
- Be an enthusiastic and engaged member of our tight knit team
Requirements:
- Experience interacting with children of diverse ages and abilities
- Certification as a PTA, AT, Kin, or reasonable equivalency
- A passion for working with babies, kids, and teens
The ideal candidate will have flexibility in offering sessions in our clinic on Mission Road, in the pool, and / or in client’s homes.
