The Acute Medicine Team is part of the wider Acute Inpatient Team, which covers Critical Care, Surgical and General Medicine wards. There are regular opportunities to attend in-service training sessions, with topics and guest speakers from a wide variety of specialities. You will have regular monthly supervision sessions and an annual appraisal. On the Acute Medical wards you will work closely with the Front Door Integrated Discharge Team (IDT), Nurses, Doctors and Advance Clinical Practitioners.
