Job Title: In-Home Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Scarborough, ON
Schedule: Part-time – 3 days/week (Flexible hours)
SereneAID is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to support a client with neurological conditions, including inflammatory radiculopathy and muscle weakness. The client follows a care plan designed by a licensed physiotherapist.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certified Physiotherapy Assistant or equivalent rehab training
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Clear Police Criminal Record Check
• Experience working with neurological conditions is an asset
• Calm, professional, and compassionate approach to client care
  Note: No lifts, transfers, or specialized equipment involved.

• Assist with range-of-motion and prescribed physiotherapy exercises
• Prioritize client safety, comfort, and emotional well-being during each session
• Provide encouraging and empathetic support to foster progress
• Observe and report changes or concerns to the supervising clinician or family
• Follow the physiotherapist’s care plan with attention to detail
