JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated, personable and multi-tasking Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physiotherapists to provide high-quality client care. The successful candidate should be able to work a morning shift a few days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in relevant area preferred; kinesiology student/background, previous work in medical clinic, and or general knowledge of clinic setup.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and support.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  Hours currently needed; Mon 3:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday 3:00/4:00-8:00pm. Other hours may be available upon chatting with the team.

• Assist physiotherapists with implementing treatment plans for patients; includes but is not limited to working with modalities(heat/ice/ultrasound/NMES), and assisting with exercises.
• Taking client calls and booking clients within Jane Software.
• Accepting payments from clients and or billing insurance providers.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Support the overall patient experience by providing empathetic care and encouragement.
