Description

This job is located in Simcoe Ontario. You must have valid driving license and a reliable vehicle to commute if required. At South Coast Physiotherapy clinic we put patient care first and are looking for someone who has a strong interest in helping others and has a strong sense of community. Qualities that are important for this position include a friendly, outgoing personality, ability to multitask, great organization skills, the ability to work well on a team.

Job duties will include but not limited to:

  • Assist the supervising physiotherapist in performing various components of the treatment plans
  • Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising Physiotherapist including but not limited to gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, the range of motion, strengthening, application of modalities. (i.e. heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS)
  • Set up and prepare equipment and clean up after treatment
  • Ensure that the gym and treatment areas are safe and tidy
  • Maintain regular ongoing communication with the physiotherapist regarding any changes or concerns about a patient’s status or treatment interventions
  • Welcoming patients as they arrive- Answering phones- Scheduling patients- Ensuring that patients attend their appointments- Collection of patient payments
  • Management of our call log, new patient intake/communication, Weekly reports- Maintain a clean office and waiting room- Verification of Insurance Benefits
  • Explanation of Benefits to newly evaluated patients- Handling the sales process to help patients get fully signed up for care- Scheduling patients after their evaluation- Patient Billing- Data Entry
