We are seeking a dedicated and organized Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training as a Physiotherapy Assistant is preferred
  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent clerical skills, including typing and data entry accuracy
  • Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals

Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
  • Provide support and assistance to patients during therapy sessions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas
  • Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, filing documents, and managing patient records
  • Utilize organizational skills to keep track of patient schedules and ensure smooth flow of appointments
  • Use Outlook Calendar to schedule appointments and manage therapist schedules
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their therapy sessions
  • Use DocuSign to obtain necessary signatures on consent forms and other documents
