Desired Skills and Experience*

• Have completed one of the following or equivalent, PTA diploma, Kinesiologist program.
• Knowledge of exercise prescription for commonly seen conditions.
• Operate and maintain modality equipment including TENS & Ultrasound
• Deep knowledge of different physical therapy techniques
• Must have a strong knowledge of human anatomy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong customer engagement and retention ability
• Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and within a tea

• Primary duties PTA - Follow and implement treatment plans designed by physiotherapist
• Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising Physiotherapist including but not limited to application of modalities, teaching exercises, providing hands on treatment i.e. stretches, etc…
• Communicating, reporting, updating patient progress to treating Physiotherapist.
• Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards.
• Secondary Duties - Administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling & billing patients.
