CHSLD BAYVIEW IS LOOKING FOR A PHYSIOTHERAPY TECHNOLOGIST

CHSLD Bayview is a 128 resident, long-term care center overlooking Valois Bay in Pointe-Claire. We provide a supportive living environment for residents experiencing loss of autonomy. Our dynamic team promotes quality of life through compassionate care and continuous improvement of services in partnership with residents and families.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Desire to make a positive impact in Bayview’s residents’ lives!
• DEC in Physiotherapy Technology.
• Member of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec.
• Experience working with long term care clientele, an asset.
• Good communication skills; verbal and written.
• Ability to take initiative and to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Capacity to organize and lead clinical projects.
• Functional bilingualism (English/French).
• Computer knowledge

• Ensure the Physiotherapy (PT) department service is organized and structured to meet the needs of the residents.
• Provide training within the establishment as required.
• Ensure an interdisciplinary approach in providing PT service.
• Ensure the quality of all care and services provided within the PT service.
• Provide PT service in a safe and secure manner.
• Manage risks and ensure there is appropriate follow up to events that are related to PT service.
• Develop and/or maintain departmental and/or clinical documentation as required.
