QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Post-secondary education, Physiotherapist background or certification in Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA), Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or a related field
  • Experience in a physiotherapy clinic or similar setting and familiarity with Jane App is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy setting.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.

We are currently seeking a Physiotherapy Therapy Assistant (PTA) / Administrative Receptionist to join our growing clinic. Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

  • Front desk: 2 years (preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, answer phone calls, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete detailed and accurate intake for new patients and support them throughout their care.
  • Assist patients with paperwork to ensure accurate and complete information.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments while maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Collect payments at time of service and assist with billing procedures.
  • Track and manage insurance or third-party coverage approvals.
  • Support therapists during treatment sessions and help prepare therapy areas and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
