REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Similar
• 3+ years of work experience in a technical role
• 2+ years of experience working with the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System
• Self-starter with an ability to multi-task and effectively work on a large number of projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in the English language
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to pass background checks

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System Accreditation
• Experience and interest in PI System integration work
• Experience working with or integrating with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
• General understanding of Central Plant Systems, Facility Management, and Energy Management

As an OSIsoft PI Engineer at Data Systems Analysts, you will be part of a growing business offering at the intersection of energy management, advanced analytics, and cybersecurity. As part of your work, you will actively translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs. You will participate in designing and implementing projects that provide situational awareness and operational intelligence based on the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System. DSA’s CIP team delivers value by integrating various systems onto a common operating platform and deploying advanced analytics to uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and resilience to support a customer mission. Within the CIP team, you will regularly interface with building automation systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other 3rd party systems. You will also use analytics packages (Python, R, etc.,.) to design and deploy algorithms that identify improvement opportunities and non-standard asset and system operations.

Comprehensive PI System training will be provided to the selected candidate, and the most important qualification is a mechanical (or electrical) engineering bachelor’s degree. The individual will support the development and implementation of new integration projects as well as supporting existing systems.
