Music Squad Cheshire delivers in-school piano lessons and small, after-school keyboard clubs to 5-11 year olds, helping children to feel really GOOD about themselves through music. We use our own Squad Star programme to make learning an instrument as fun, as silly and as joyful as we think it should be! And we need fun, silly and joyful piano teachers to make that happen.
We are currently recruiting for one experienced and enthusiastic piano teacher to deliver individual day-time piano lessons AND small group (10 children max) after-school clubs in primary schools in Cheshire East, particularly round Holmes Chapel, Wistaston, Willaston and Alsager. The role requires somebody with their own car to drive between primary schools in the area with equipment provided. Because we operate in schools, all of our teaching is during the day (9-4.30), week day (Mon-Fri) and term time only. Clubs are one hour long and typically 3.30-4.30pm although this varies by school.

You must have some experience teaching the piano to young children either individually and/or in small groups. You will be required to pass all necessary DBS, safeguarding and other checks. Full training and support will be provided as necessary. All equipment will be provided.
