QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience teaching piano and/or voice, with a strong foundation in classical, contemporary, or both.
  • Solid knowledge of music theory and strong proficiency on the piano.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to teach students of various ages, especially children and teens.
  • Degree or diploma in Music, Music Education, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a private lesson or music school setting is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging one-on-one piano and/or voice lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
  • Create personalized lesson plans that reflect each student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests.
  • Integrate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills into lessons.
  • Provide constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging way.
  • Help students prepare for recitals, exams, and other performance opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly with students and families about progress and lesson planning.
  • Stay informed about new teaching resources, methods, and music education trends.
