We have an exciting opportunity, full of progression, for an enthusiastic ‘Picker / Packer Warehouse Operative’ to join our award winning team at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, Shropshire. We’re looking for someone with an interest and enthusiasm for a new challenge, who wants to learn a new career with 1000’s of unique products
- Full training will be provided, previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required
- Forklift license is preferred but not required, training may be provided if necessary
- Physical fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Reliability and punctuality: Consistent attendance and timeliness.
- Attention to detail: Accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Teamwork skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Safety awareness: Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Training and information will be provided on site.
- General warehouse duties including picking and packing
- Ensuring goods are made available for dispatch in line with customer expectations
- Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently & safely.
- Helping the warehouse manager and supervisors in the maintenance and safe running of the warehouse
- Upholding goods inwards and returns processes
- General warehouse health and safety ensuring all areas of the warehouse are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Stocktaking & maintenance of accurate inventory records
- Assist with other areas of the business when required – working offsite when required
