JOB FUNCTION: 1. Program/Department Responsibilities - Instruction of assigned classes, teaching proper techniques and form of appropriate skills - To have good sports skills and experience of the class, gym and outdoor areas - To keep accurate attendance records and class records - To evaluate students ability level(s) - To explain progress and procedures to parents - To prepare gym/outdoor areas with necessary equipment/supplies - To maintain order and safety in class - Instruction of proper use of equipment - Be informed of all current and/or upcoming programs and special events in order to interpret TMCA membership and program information to members and potential members to increase their participation in each are. 2. Supervision of Personnel - None 3. Fiscal Responsibility - None 4. Facility/Housekeeping Responsibility - To clean area after class, reporting any damaged or broken equipment supervisor immediately - Ensure a safe environment for all participants 5. Divisional/Community/Volunteer Responsibility - Provide friendly, courteous service to all members, clients and volunteers of the Y 6.
