Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Pickles Live team based on a rotational basis between our Head Office in Belmore, 2192 and our branch at Milperra, 2214. This position is a casual role, working across Monday – Friday, with approximately 2-3 shifts per week (working around 6 to 12 hours per week). Availability across Tuesday-Thursday is highly regarded as these are the busier days of the department. In this busy role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Data entry of auction bids into our Live Online Auctions system
  • Relaying information to an auctioneer by phone in a timely manner during Auctions, clear confident speaking voice.
  • Auctions are held in real time so a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and quick thinking are a must
  • General administrative duties associated with the auction process
  • Liaising effectively with relevant employees at our branches regarding auction bidding
  • Flexibility in a casual role, with view to be trained in other administrative duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • A positive, professional and engaging phone manner
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Reasonably fast typing skills (70 - 80 words per minute)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal & client relationship skills
  • Competent computer skills (MS Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Efficient, organised and able to prioritise competing deadline
