SKILLS

• Framing experience and ability desirable
• Understanding of suitability of mounts, framing and glass desirable
• Ability to use the equipment in the Pictures Workshop
• Ability to work with a team of people and to take instruction on workflow
• Good verbal communications to enable understanding of requirements
• Initiative to recommend solutions and/or improvements where appropriate
• Prepared to work overtime if required
• Dependable and responsible with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Flexibility when following instructions on priority of workflow

Experience:

• Framing : 1 year (required

• Work under the direction of the Pictures Workshop Supervisor
• Follow the schedule of work provided to ensure efficient production
• Carry out the correct works to the correct items, in a reasonable time frame, to the correct standard and cleanliness
• Mount pictures, cut frames and glass, assemble frames, add fixings and ensure pictures are produced to the required specification
• Flag any complications or assembly slow-downs
• Ensure the Pictures Workshop and relevant equipment are clean and in working order
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to the Pictures Workshop Supervisor
• Adhere to health and safety rules, and ensure compliance across the workshop
