Description We are currently looking for a friendly and creative Pilates Instructor/Fitness Concierge to join our Fitness Department! Summary: Quail West is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor/Pilates Instructor/Fitness Concierge to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about movement, committed to client safety and progress, and enjoys working as part of a supportive group of instructors to deliver a consistent, high-quality member experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead high-quality Pilates classes and private sessions (mat and equipment-based) Design safe, effective, and inclusive workouts for members of varying experience levels Provide clear instruction, modifications, and appropriate cueing Work collaboratively with other instructors to ensure consistency in programming and member experience Communicate effectively with team members regarding scheduling, client needs, and studio operations Build strong relationships with members while maintaining a positive, professional atmosphere Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped studio environment Track attendance, member progress, and session notes as required Follow Quail West policies, schedules, and professional standards Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Computer: Ability to proficiently use Microsoft office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend correspondence, memos, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees. Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Other: Possess strong organizational, written and time management skills. Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities through own self-actions. Must be compliant with and actively support a drug free workplace. Comply with all rules and regulations as stated whether verbal or written. Qualifications Comprehensive Pilates certification CPR/AED and First Aid certification Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team and support fellow instructors Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Ability to work a consistent full-time schedule, including some evenings or weekends Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
