duties and responsibilities for a Piling Chargehand with 2-3 years of experience in Piling and Enabling Works:
Key Duties:
1. Supervising piling operations: Oversee piling works, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
2. Leading piling teams: Guide and direct piling crew members, providing technical guidance and support.
3. Equipment management: Oversee the use, maintenance, and operation of piling equipment.
4. Quality control: Monitor piling works to ensure adherence to design specifications, standards, and regulations.
5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during piling operations, collaborating with supervisors and engineers.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring safety: Implement and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
2. Coordinating with site teams: Collaborate with other site personnel, including surveyors, engineers, and contractors.
3. Reporting and documentation: Prepare and submit reports on piling operations, highlighting progress, issues, and concerns.
4. Maintaining records: Keep accurate records of piling activities, including equipment usage and maintenance.
5. Providing guidance: Mentor junior crew members and provide technical guidance on piling operations.
Requirements:
1. 5-10 years of experience: Proven track record in piling and enabling works, with experience in supervising piling operations.
