We’re looking for a Pilot Build Coordinator to oversee assigned pilot project builds, ensure schedule adherence, and facilitate seamless coordination between Engineering, Technicians, and Project Managers.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive team player with strong communication and organizational skills. You should be comfortable balancing multiple projects, collaborating across teams, and navigating shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a technical, operations, or business-related field
• 2–5 years of experience in team leadership, coordination, or project support roles (preferably in production or R&D)
• Familiarity with manufacturing or pilot production processes
• Understanding of operational metrics related to labor, materials, and timelines

SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU APART:

• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate across Engineering, Quality, and Production teams

As the Pilot Build Coordinator, you’ll be the hub of activity for pilot builds — keeping teams aligned, tracking progress, troubleshooting issues, and helping turn prototypes into production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day execution of assigned pilot builds and ensure projects stay on track.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop detailed build schedules and implement updates.
• Communicate closely with Technicians and Engineers to optimize processes and resolve build challenges.
• Set up pilot build lines and coordinate needed resources, tools, and materials.
• Facilitate technician training and support the onboarding of Production Specialists.
• Partner with Quality, Transfer, and Production teams to support successful product transitions.
• Monitor and collect performance data (e.g., time studies, materials usage) to inform improvements.
• Manage quality follow-up, including tracking Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and related actions.
